Are you a Radiologist currently working in Breast Imaging? Our client on the North Island of New Zealand has a rare and outstanding opportunity to become the Clinical Director of their Breast Screening service.
As a result of the upcoming retirement of the Clinical Director, the hospital are looking to appoint a fulltime (1 FTE) Radiologist to lead and support their BreastScreen Coast to Coast (BSCC) Service. BSCC covers the Taranaki, Whanganui, Hawke's Bay, Tairawhiti and Palmerston North areas.
The successful applicant will be accredited in breast screening and have experience in all forms of breast imaging, including mammography, breast ultrasounds, as well as ultrasound-guided biopsies. They will also have previous experience in a leadership role.
The successful applicant will join a supportive and collegial BSCC team as the Clinical Director (.2 FTE) and Lead Radiologist (.8 FTE) who is supported by colleagues from the radiology department in reading of screens.
To be eligible for this position you must have a specialist qualification in Radiology that is recognised by the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Radiology as suitable for Vocational Registration in New Zealand and eligible for Vocational Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Suitable and comparable overseas specialist qualifications are usually obtained in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, Canada, Australasia and South Africa.
