This town has a large and growing service economy with its major industries being tourism, commerce, education and primary industries. The recent mining boom has led to further growth - particularly in engineering and financial services, contributing to the affluence of the area and offering broad potential employment opportunities for partners, family members etc.
Off the back of its success the area has superb lifestyle amenities – both cultural and sporting – as well as a large range of private and government provided schools.
It's relative proximity to Melbourne is a draw card as well. Melbourne itself is arguably the most exciting city in Australia. It is a major cultural, sporting, academic and economic centre in the Asia-Pacific region.
