An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Intensive Care Registrar to spend 6-12 months working in a large hospital on the North Island of New Zealand. The hospital is the largest in the region and is supported by 3 regional hospitals and so, in turn, the role will offer you the chance to work on a varied and challenging case mix. This opportunity would suit someone who would like to take a break from their training programme to learn different ways of working and be exposed to different types of presentations in a unique healthcare system. Or perhaps you are considering moving to New Zealand on a long term basis for a better work-life balance? This could be the ideal stepping stone for you!
The region is well known for it's beautiful beaches and laid back lifestyle and has hosts many outdoor activities to suit all interests and ages.
Suitable candidates for this role will be at PGY3 level or above and will have at least 6 months experience in Emergency and Paediatrics. Previous experience within intensive care or anaesthetics would be desirable.
Interested candidates must be available to start the recruitment process immediately as start dates will be in August or September 2019.
You must be eligible for provisional registration or have general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
