Excellent opportunities available in Tasmania, Australia for ICU Registrars who are looking to experience life in a beautiful location offering excellent work-life balance.

Based in one of Tasmania's major cities, you will work in a 400 bed hospital which has its own purpose built Intensive Care Unit.  You will be supported by senior medical staff and a close knit team whilst having a high level of clinical exposure and ongoing opportunities for development.  You will gain exposure to various types of unique presentations enabling you to develop your skills and knowledge rapidly within a different environment.

There are opportunities to complete rotations in Anaesthesia, Medicine and Emergency Medicine.  As well as this, rotations to related specialties or participation in the Tasmanian Aeromedical and Retrieval Service for suitably experienced applicants can be arranged.

Contracts will initially be for 12 months and will commence in February 2020.  Interested candidates must therefore be able to start the recruitment process straight away to allow for adequate processing times for medical registration and visa applications.

Suitable candidates must be eligible for either Provisional General Registration or Limited Registration with AHPRA.  Head Medical can advise you on your eligibility for the role based on your qualifications and experience.
