This post is accredited for training by the College of Intensive Care Medicine for 6 months of core ICU training, foundation training and rural exposure requirement. It is also accredited by the colleges of emergency medicine, general medicine, and rural hospital medicine training.
Suitable applicants will hold general registration or be eligible to apply for provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. There are different registration pathways and Head Medical can advise you on your eligibility if you are unsure. You will also have prior Intensive Care or Anaesthetic experience at Registrar level with at least 6 months experience in emergency and paediatrics.
This position will commence in June 2020 and contract length can be flexible for the right candidate.
