What a lovely opportunity! We have been approached to recruit permanent Theatre Practitioners for the States of Guernsey. I would like to speak to Band 5 and Band 6 RNs or ODPs who are looking for a permanent move to Guernsey. All specialities will be considered: scrub, anaesthetics and recovery.
Grade: Band 6 - £36,501 - £44,054 BAR £45,493 - £49,449 per annum
The post holder is responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team and to participate in the assessment of patient care needs and implementing and maintain the agreed standards of care.
All the Senior Practitioners are expected to take part in running elective and emergency operating sessions. They also deputise for the Team Leaders/Co-ordinator with the running of speciality sessions and coordinate the department in their absence. Weekends are worked about one in three/four and on-call once a week.
They offer a full relocation package which includes interview and relocation travel, this is in addition to competitive pay and annual bonus.
They also offer subsidised accommodation for those travelling to the Island alone, and an 8-year employment permit for those wishing to bring a partner or family.
Criteria:
You must be an ODP or RN with a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience, and currently registered with the HCPC or NMC.
