GP’s required to join a modern, well equipped and privately owned practices in Perth.
- Locations available in the beautiful southern suburbs.
- We are looking for GP’s to join the practice as soon as possible (taking into account the length of time for medical registration and immigration).
- Practices are close to the city centre and a stone’s throw away to Perth’s stunning beaches.
The Position
Small group of GP led practices are opening a new practice in the southern suburbs of Perth, and also have vacancies in their northern Perth practice.
This is a full time position with flexible hours during the week, the practice is open 7 days and you would be required to work 1 weekend per month shared with all GPs.
The practice has 12 consulting rooms and a large 9 bed treatment area. It offers family medicine, an urgent care walk-in clinic, pathology, pharmacy, dental, x-ray and ultrasound.
The practices are close to public transport and highways with around a 20 minute drive to the city centre and less than 10 minute drive to the beach.
You will be offered 65% of billings and earnings are estimated to be around $300k per annum. You will have lots of support when you arrive, active ongoing medical education is encouraged as are special interests where you will be assisted as much as possible to develop your skills and training. There is a large team of nursing support within the practice.
The Location
The area is popular with Australians and UK expats coming to live in Perth due to its proximity to the city and the beach. The area has a relaxed and cosmopolitan feel with a great choice of restaurants and cafes.
Both practices are a 20 minute drive to the city centre of Perth and there are regular trains into the city. There are excellent schools in the local areas; both private and government; primary and secondary.
Perth is located along the waters of the Swan River and the west of the city runs along the Indian Ocean. It is the state capital of Western Australia and home to around 1.6 million people. It is a highly multi-cultural city and a top choice for UK expats.
Perth is great for families with beautiful beaches to the north and south of the city. The clean, clear coastline offer great spots for swimming, surfing and watersports.
