Mixed billing. Bulk bill pensioners and health-care card holders who attend the clinic for ‘care plans’. Otherwise they charge a $45 gap fee. They believe this represents an ethical balance between adequate income and social responsibility. The individual doctor has full control over their billings. There is an excess of patients, and they anticipate that your booking will fill up very quickly.
You will be supported by a team that includes 3 reception staff, 1 practice nurse, physio part-time
This is a newly built medical centre with beautiful appointed rooms with windows. They believe that doctors should work in a healthy environment. Nearby parking. Wonderful location, sea, mountains, national park, easy access to Sydney, train etc
Location
Small costal village/town on surf beach surrounded by national park that form the beginning of the Southern Highlands. It forms part of a chain of costal towns that merge into the city of Wollongong. There is an express train to Sydney (1 hour) so many commute to work. Excellent schools, café’s shops. Incredible quality of life.
Wollongong lies 50 miles south of Sydney and has an approximate population of 300,000. It has beautiful beaches with a dramatic backdrop of green and sandstone of the Illawarra Escarpment.
As the third largest city in NSW, has a multi-cultural history and is a University town, adding to its international feel and cosmopolitan outlook, with people from over 100 countries having made their home there.
The variety of restaurants, theatres, cinemas, pubs and clubs make for an active nightlife while the art galleries, museums, botanic gardens, beaches and activities offer plenty to do during the day.
