The Location

This practice is situated in one of the oldest towns in WA and is approximately 60 miles from Perth CBD.  It is an beautiful example of colonial architecture and is renowned for its heritage precinct. There are a wide range of experiences on offer including food and wine festivals, country racing, local produce and plenty of arts and crafts.  It is bordered by outstanding natural beauty with several Heritage Walking Trails available. Adrenalin junkies can also get their pulses racing with a range of aerial pursuits such as skydiving, paragliding and ultra-light flights in the area.

There are Primary and Secondary schools within the town and for those who would prefer to live closer to Perth you can live in one of the outer suburbs and have a short commute.

Perth is located along the waters of the Swan River and the west of the city runs along the Indian Ocean. It is the state capital of Western Australia and home to around 1.6 million people, making it a highly multi-cultural city and a top choice for UK expats with a fantastic social scene boasting plenty of alfresco style cafes and restaurants.

Perth is great for families with beautiful beaches to the north and south of the city and the clean, clear coastline attracts many visitors who enjoy snorkelling, sailing, surfing or swimming with the wild dolphins that famously live in the nearby bay areas.

The weather is excellent with mild winters and hot, dry summers to enjoy whether you choose to spend time in the city, on the coast or in the country.

What Head Medical can do for you

Arranging a position overseas is very exciting, but we understand that it can also be daunting and time consuming. We’re the UK's specialist in international medical recruitment and we've helped many Doctors relocate since we first started out in 2008 (you can read what people have said about working with us on our testimonials page). We know it’s important to balance career opportunities with lifestyle and we’ll talk through your plans and will get to know you to make sure we find the right role in the right location.

Once we have secured a job for you, we’ll manage the Medical Registration and Visa application process, and support you (and your family) with the relocation itself.

For a discussion about this role or
other opportunities contact Vicki today.
