GP position available in 3 doctor practice in Launceston, Tasmania.
The practice is mixed billing with an emphasis on chronic illness and excellent patient care only 7km from the centre of Launceston.
The practice is fully equipped with four consulting rooms and two treatment rooms. Patients are a mix of young families, young professionals and elderly. The practice is open Monday to Friday only.
You can expect to earn about $100 per hour initially then once up to speed you can earn over $300k per annum. The Practice Manager will meet you from the airport and provide initial accommodation. They will offer full support into the community and show you around on those first few days.
You will receive full induction and continuing support, encouraged to attend CPD events and supported to ensure you reach your billing potential.
Launceston has a population of around 100,000 but the city has the charm and pace of a regional centre and the facilities of a much larger city without the crowding, traffic, litter and crime.
The city has temperate climate with four distinct seasons. Winters never going below freezing and summers around 30 degrees.
Launceston has a wide selection of private and public schools including Launceston Church Grammar School which is considered one of the best private schools in Australia. There is a large hospital and a lively cafe and arts scene. Launceston has an airport providing short flights to Melbourne and other Australian state capitals.
