The Practice…
We are seeking a GP with emergency skills for a minimum 3 year term. This is a busy, well established and respected, accredited and computerised practice
You will be supporting a rural community of over 5000 people, situated on the Murrumbidgee River in the Riverina, only 1 hour from the nearest regional centre of which has a population of 60,000.
The Centre accommodates 7 doctors, 3 FTE nurses and a physiotherapist with P/T podiatrist, dietician, psychologists, Aboriginal health nurse and audiologist, plus a range of visiting specialists.
VMO and on-call coverage at the local district hospital; a modern 24 bed hospital with facilities for surgery and the rural referral hospital is situated 95km away.
The practice has a strong teaching emphasis.
Doctors receive a generous percentage of billings and retain all of their on call allowance. The practice is mixed billings and anticipated income is a minimum of $300,000.
The opening hours are Monday to Friday and the on call doctor covers a clinic in the practice on Saturday.
