We have a fantastic opportunity for a GP to join an established non-corporate medical practice located on the popular Sunshine Coast, just 1 hour north of Brisbane. The practice is lucky to have a rare DWS position available and this is likely to be a popular vacancy.
This is a bulk billing practice with an established patient base, currently with 7 GPs working there they offer a wide range of services including Dietician, Travel Medicine and Skin Checks. The GPs are supported by a practice manager, team of nurses and receptionists and part time psychologist. They have a large treatment room which is fully equipped with ABI, ECG, spirometry and dedicated nurse clinics to provide health assessments and chronic disease management.
The practice located in a complex with other health services: pathology, dentist, imaging/x-ray, speech pathology and a chemist across the road
The practice is open 7 days a week, with rotational share of weekends (average of 1 Sat or Sunday in 4 weeks). Opening hours are 8am-6.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.30-5pm Saturday and Sunday..
To be considered for this position you must have MRCGP / MICGP / FRACGP or equivalent.

The area has excellent education facilities including The University of Sunshine Coast and TAFE Queensland with various campuses. There is a wide choice of state and schools available in the area.
