We’re recruiting for General Practitioners to join a busy group of medical centres located in the
city of Mackay in Queensland. Due to this massive investment they are now on the hunt for passionate, Caring and enthusiastic General Practitioners to join their quest to shake up the healthcare system as we know it. The clinic is equipped with a full network of clinical staff on site, including Physio, OT's and Nurses as well as A&E, Aesthetics, Dieticians, Occupational Health, Pathology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and a skin cancer clinic.
The practice is mixed billing although rarely bulk bills . They work to 10-minute appointments and are fully computerised.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am – 7pm and Saturday & Sunday 8am – 2pm
The package on offer for you:
- 60% of private billings.
- Guaranteed minimum earnings for the first few weeks $3,000 - $4,000 depending on after hours included
- Accommodation and Car provided on arrival
- Established GPs can earn up to £250,000 pa (AUS$430,000)
- DPA location so can sponsor you and family for a visa.
- Can take support on both RACGP and ACRRM doctors.
The Location
Mackay is a city on the eastern coast of Queensland, Australia, about 600 miles north of Brisbane, on the Pioneer River. Mackay is nicknamed the sugar capital of Australia because its region produces more than a third of Australia's cane sugar and is the gateway to the mines producing coal.
