The Practice
This established practice is located on the southern NSW coast. Doctors at this practice are able to take 6 weeks leave a year and an additional 2 weeks for study/CPD activities. They are recruiting another GP to maintain the work life balance for all of the team and because of the growth in popularity in the region because of its excellent schools, affordable housing and access to everything you could want in a coastal town.
The region has a demographic of young families and retirees and all of the doctors earn a very comfortable income without having to do on call and Saturday shifts.
Up to 6 months accommodation is available on arrival for a new doctor and their family.

The Location
Ideally situated on the New South Wales coast, 2.5 hours drive from Canberra and 1 hour flight from Melbourne or Sydney. Domestic flights within Australia run daily and a great way to explore the country.
Not only will this location appeal to beach lovers and surfers, but it is close enough to the Snowy Mountains that ski lovers can spend the day on the slopes and be home on the same day. Whale watching, bike trails and national parks are also key attractions to the outdoors.
From simple café to stylish restaurant, the choice is yours on the Sapphire Coast – the best of local bounty, straight to the plate from land and sea. The region has lots to offer food and drink lovers both eating out and shopping. Local products are widely available at markets throughout the week. There are plenty of stores locally, recognisable from the UK so you will not need to go far for your needs.
There are 17 Primary and Secondary Schools in the area including Government, Private, Catholic and Alternative. Property in the area can start from as little as $250 per week to rent or $200,000 to buy and many have beach views. The town has lots to offer all ages and interests.
