GP with special interest in mental health, Cairns region. DWS position, relocation assistance and income guarantee available
We are looking for a GP with a special interest in mental health to join a team of experienced Doctors, Nurses and support staff.
GP’s with a special interest in Women's and Indigenous Health would also be very welcome.
The practice works closely with Mulungu Aboriginal Service, Health Reimagined and Northern Australia Primary Health Limited, and has several visiting allied health professionals such as diabetic educators, dietician, podiatrist, psychiatrist, exercise physiologist and Australian Hearing. Co-located in the centre are Steve King Dental Group, Sullivan Nicholaides Pathology and Queensland Community Health.
Located within the rainforest and just half an hour drive from the centre of Cairns, this is the perfect opportunity for GPs who are passionate about Indigenous Health and Closing the Gap to work from the practice as well as in remote clinics, which are run three times a fortnight to service the surrounding Indigenous communities.
The practice has DWS, valid HWC and can sponsor so doctors from overseas encouraged to apply

Requirements:
- Postgraduate training and experience in general practice ideal
- Eligible for registration with AHPRA
Hours Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
Remuneration package:
- Accommodation & Hire car on arrival
- Sign on bonus of up to $80k dependent on duration of contract
- minimum earning guarantee
- Realistically earn $350k+ per annum
