This 10 GP practice in Port Macquarie are recruiting for 2 Doctors to join their surgery.
It is a modern, purpose built, standalone building with GP consulting rooms that look out onto the sea.
The practice has been established for 2 years and was so busy that they had around 50 new patients registering per day. The Doctors are currently fully booked and the demand is still such that they need another 2 GPs to join their team.
The practice is not in a DWS area however due to close links with the University they will be able to organise academic exemptions.
This is a high earning practice with current Doctors billing $2-3k per day.

- Average earnings c $300-$450k
- There is a min guarantee for 6 month
- Accommodation and car for 3 months
- Up to $15k relocation assistance
The practice is open 8am to 5pm Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, 8am to 7pm on a Tues and 10am to 3pm on a Sun. Weekends are covered on a rota basis (one of the current Doctors works every 2nd Sunday therefore this commitment is minimal).
There are 15 consulting rooms in the surgery and you will be supported by a practice manager, admin staff and 3 qualified nurses. There is on site pathology and a range of services provided including psychology, physiotherapy, audiology, exercise physiology and speech therapy.

Port Macquarie is located almost midway between Newcastle and Coffs Harbour (approximately 2.5 hours either way). It has a population of nearly 80,000 and is widely regarded as one of the most liveable towns in Australia.
There are a number of excellent private and state primary and high schools in the area, a great University along with plenty of shopping, recreational and sports facilities.
