Busy practice in northern Brisbane requires a full time GP to join their modern mixed billing practice.
The practice is part of a group of practices located mostly in Queensland.
They currently have a requirement for an additional GP for their practice which is around 30 minutes north of Brisbane CBD. This is an established mixed billing practice located within a rapidly growing area.
There are currently four GPs working in the clinic – there is a big demand in the area due to rapid growth in population and this has seen the clinic grow over the last couple of years. They have onsite Pathology and Pharmacy.
The GPs are supported by a practice manager, receptionists, a minimum of two practice nurses and have dedicated chronic disease nurses for management plans.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and a Saturday morning. It is normal for you to be required to cover an evening finish each week and share of the weekend roster.
To be considered for this position you must have MRCGP / MICGP / FRACGP or equivalent.
Located in a mostly suburban area around 30 minutes drive from Brisbane CBD. The area is experiencing a growth in population with lots of new housing and nursing homes being developed. The demographics are mixed but with mostly young families and elderly. There are also a lot of British ex-pats living in the area.

It's a cosmopolitan and lively city that is home to many different types of scenery, including skyscrapers, parkland and even an artificial beach. Brisbane is a river city, although close to the coast, with Brisbane River running through it. It is surrounded by hills and full of bridges. Brisbane also gives easy access to a number of attractions as well as the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. Brisbane has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and dry, mild winters – perfect for enjoying the Queensland outdoors lifestyle.
