Busy medical centre located in the western suburbs of Melbourne is looking for an additional GP to join their team

The Role
This is a busy bulk billing clinic which has been open since early 2015. The practice is owned by two GPs, who also work in the clinic. There are 7 GPs in total who work a mixture of part and full time. They are looking for a full time GP to cover week days and a share of weekend work – this is due to patient demand as they are turning patients away.
The GPs are supported by full time nurses, a practice manager, Physio, Psychologist, podiatrist and nurse lead botox clinic. There is also a well equipped treatment room and on site pharmacy.
They aren’t looking for any specific special interests but skills / interest within women’s health, paeadiatrics or minor surgery would be beneficial – the patient base has a lot of young families.
You would be required to work either 8am or 9am to 5pm with some weekend work on a roster. They have an after hours GP covering evenings.
- 65% billings – 70% on weekends and public holidays
- Minimum hourly guarantee for settling in period
- Minimum 2 year contract
To be considered for this position you must have MRCGP/CCT/MICGP or FRACGP or equivalent.
