This medical centre is a GP owned practice in the popular area in the western suburbs of Melbourne.
The clinic was first established since 1983 and at present it’s a solo GP, It’s fully accredited and also takes medical students from Melbourne University.
There is a current patient list of 4500 and the current GP sees 50 patients per day, many patients are turned away on a daily basis.. They are in need of 2 other doctors to join the team to help share the patient base and grow it further. There is also an opportunity to assist with servicing nursing homes in the area.
They have 2 nurses and 4 receptionists supporting the doctor, also have Audiologist, Speech Pathologist, Podiatrist and hopefully a Dietician joining soon.
The practice is open Monday to Thursday 8.30-6pm, 8.30-12 on a Friday and Saturday. Working hours are flexible but it would be preferred that you could work alternate Saturdays, time off during the week to compensate is possible.

To be considered for this position you must have MRCGP/MICGP/FRACGP or equivalent.
Located in Hoppers Crossing which is a 35 minute drive from Melbourne CBD. The practice is located a 20 minute walk from the local railway station and it’s just a 20 minute train journey from the city.
The area has a large number of state, religious and private schools, affordable housing and plenty of recreational and shopping facilities.
