The Role
We're working with a client who currently owns two practices in the outer Melbourne area - They are looking for GPs for their clinic on the Mornington Peninsula which is around a 1 hour drive from the suburbs.
The practice is very modern, bright and fresh with very well equipped rooms, treatment rooms and is fully computerised. There is a team of experienced receptionists and full time nurses on hand to help you maximise your billings to their full potential. The owner has years of experience of running successful high quality medical centres so you will be fully supported and made to feel welcome by their friendly team.
The clinic has been open since early 2015 and has developed a busy patient base within that time - there are currently 8 GPs working here and there is patient demand for more! The practice offers an out of hours service to 12 midnight every day however you will not be required to cover these hours. You will be contracted to work 40 hours per week over normal working hours Monday to Friday.
- 60% billings (lots of support from the team to maximise your billings and high quality services on site)
- $100ph minimum guarantee for 6 months
- 2 year contract - may consider less
- $25,000 relocation paid (2 year + contract only)
- Estimated earnings in the region of $300k - $450k pa
To be considered for this position you must have MRCGP/MICGP/FRACGP or equivalent.
The Location
Located on the Mornington Peninsula just over an hours drive from Melbourne city centre. There is a good choice of very nice towns and suburbs to live in within a 20 minute drive of the practice.
The practice itself is located in an area with lower socio economic demographics with a strong sense of community. Up until recently the area was poorly serviced in terms of healthcare so this clinic has been warmly welcomed.
The Mornington Peninsula offers a great lifestyle if you are looking for a slower pace of life to that of the big city. The climate is similar to the Mediterranean, based yourself in a quaint seaside town with miles of lovely beaches to chose from. Vineyards a plenty, golf courses, boating and more are all available in abundance. A wide choice of schools, recreational facilities and affordable housing are all readily available.
