The Role
We’re working with a client based in the Central Coast area of NSW around 1 hour drive north of Sydney.
This mixed billing practice has been established by two UK trained GPs who made the move to Australia themselves a few years ago. They will be on hand before you even arrive to ensure that you are fully supported and welcomed to the practice with all of the practical and professional help that you will need to make your relocation go as smoothly as possible.
They are located in a popular and busy shopping precinct right on the coast. The clinic has been recently refurbished to a modern and high standard with state of the art equipment. It has 5 consultation rooms, a 3 bed treatment room with mini theatre, staff room and a shower. There is full time nursing support, 3 receptionists and a practice manager. Pathology, pharmacy, dentist and opticians are all near by.
There is a particular special interest here in skin cancer work and this would be a great opportunity for any doctor with experience in this area already or for anyone who would like to develop these skills.
Opening hours are Monday to Fridy 8am to 8pm and Sat and Sunday 10am to 4pm. Working hours are flexible but it’s preferred that you will work full time, c.38 hours a week.

- $120ph minimum guarantee for 3 months

- Expected income - $300k - $350k pa
- 2 year minimum contract
To be considered for this position you must have MRCGP / MICGP / FRACGP or equivalent.
The Location
The region is a network of towns about 90kms from Sydney that have been linked in recent years by expanding suburban development. The main cluster of the region includes Gosford, Wyong, Tuggerah, Lakehaven, The Entrance, Terrigal, and Woy Woy. The area is also a popular tourist destination, and a popular area for retirement. As a result, the cultural identity of the region is distinct from that of the large and diverse metropolis of Sydney.
