Head Medical are currently recruiting for General Medicine Senior House Officers and Registrars to work in a widely popular northern coast of North Island, New Zealand. These roles will commence in August 2019 (or sooner dependant on candidate's availability) and will rotate around different departments, providing care of patients covering a wide range of sub-specialist groups.
This is an ideal opportunity for PGY3+ candidates to take some time out to experience the unique culture, outstanding nature and relaxed lifestyle that New Zealand has to offer. On your days off, take the opportunity to explore the area which hosts many action packed activities including mountain biking, kayaking, volcano tours and surfing or simply take advantage of living in New Zealand's sunniest town and relax by the surrounding white, sandy beaches.
Working closely with Registrars and Senior Medical Practitioners, you will gain invaluable experience within a unique healthcare system and be exposed to many varied and interesting presentations. You will receive great one on one training as well as consistent support and supervision.
To be considered for these roles you must hold general registration or be eligible for provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
