With a great climate, pristine beaches and abundant natural beauty, the southern coast of NSW is simply spectacular. The local beach is 5 km long and is perfect for all activities including swimming, surfing and fishing.

On the Sapphire Coast, weather extremes are the exception.  The summer offers a temperate climate, warm waters, balmy nights and predominately northerly breezes. Life revolves around pristine beaches and estuary systems and everyone takes advantage of the long hours of sunlight, about 14 hours at the height of summer. Days are regularly around 30°C with average temperatures between 24°C and 16°C.

Summer fades into pleasant autumns and mild winters with about 10 hours of daylight a day. It is perfect for wilderness adventures like kayaking and bush walking and extreme adventures like mountain biking and diving for game fish.

Daily flights are available from the local airport to Sydney and Melbourne…although the local area will have plenty to occupy you!

What Head Medical can do for you…

Arranging a position overseas is very exciting, but we understand that it can also be daunting and time consuming. We’re the UK's specialist in international medical recruitment and we‘ve helped many Doctors relocate since we first started out in 2008 (you can read what people have said about working with us on our testimonials page). We know it’s important to balance career opportunities with lifestyle and we’ll talk through your plans and will get to know you to make sure we find the right role in the right location.

Once we have secured a job for you, we’ll manage the Medical Registration and Visa application process, and support you (and your family) with the relocation itself.
