Role and Hospital

You will be an experienced Anaesthetist who is looking to help shape and lead a regional Anaesthetics department, supported by a close team of consultants and  24/7 Registrar and RMO cover.  This is a medium sized regional hospital which offers a range of general and specialist inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, general medicine and surgery, basic orthopaedic, clinical investigation, obstetrics, maternity, gynaecology, high dependency and coronary care, palliative care, medical imaging, pathology and paediatrics.


The Area

A diverse and fascinating outdoor orientated region mixing beachside towns, secluded beaches, and scenic National Parks.

A gorgeous climate boasting an average high of 30+ degrees in the Summer with a low of 10+ degrees in winter.   Opportunities for watersports abound - sailing, snorkelling and diving (with easy access to the Great Barrier Reef.)
