We are recruiting a Specialist Rheumatologist to join the team at the team at our client`s hospital in one of the most highly sought after coastal cities in New Zealand. They provide healthcare for a rapidly growing population in one of the most beautiful regions in New Zealand. The Rheumatology service currently provides care to people from across the district at ambulatory clinics at two hospital sites. The Rheumatology team consists of Physicians, Specialist Nurses and Allied Health staff. One of our team is working towards retirement and we are offering this role as a fixed term position, as we look to how best to grow and innovate to meet the needs of our population across into the future. As we move towards the Health NZ system redesign, we are aware of the opportunities this provides to adapt and deliver services that are accessible and responsive to people with both acute and long- term health challenges. The ideal candidate would also have the skills to foster a learning culture across undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff, with the support of the clinical school and the University of Auckland.
