Come and bring your additional specialist area of expertise to this post as part of an expanding trust-wide medical model to deliver speciality in-reach to the acute team and specialist weekend ward rounds.
When not allocated to inpatient care duties you will contribute to outpatient care with clinics, bronchoscopy sessions and other clinical and supportive programmed activities. The additional appointment will allow for 7 day weekend ward rounds on a 1:6 basis and in return a withdrawal from the acute medical on call rota.
Requirements
- Full GMC registration with licence to practise, and on the specialist register in Acute Medicine or GIM with proven skills and up-to-date experience in acute medicine OR Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for G(I)M via CCT or CESR (CP) (proposed CCT/CESR (CP) date must be within 6 months of interview) CESR or European Community Rights
- If included in the GMC Specialist Register Specialist List in a specialty other than general or acute medicine, candidates must have equivalent training and/or appropriate experience.
- MRCP or equivalent Success in Intercollegiate Specialty Examination or overseas equivalent
