Consultant General Radiologist – Scotland
An opportunity is available for a Consultant Radiologist to work in a successful team based at a large district hospital located in Scotland. Working in an area of outstanding beauty you will be located in a city but with very easy access to rural countryside and beautiful coastlines. This highly regarded department have plans in place to increase their size and further develop their service. With excellent equipment in place and a very supportive environment this is a great place for either an experienced Consultant looking for a better work/life balance, or a new Consultant starting out in the NHS.
You will have strong general radiology experience, ideally gained within the UK or Ireland, but overseas trained doctors will be welcomed also. All special interests will be considered and a discussion will be held to establish where your expertise could take the service in the future. There will be a requirement to be registered with the General Medical Council and ideally be on the Specialist Register (or eligible for entry to) and hold FRCR. Doctors who are interested in pursuing the CESR route for specialist registration can be considered and it may be possible to offer visa sponsorship where required, please get in touch to discuss your situation.
