Consultant Psychiatrist – Learning Disabilities – Private Sector – England
An excellent opportunity is available for a Consultant Psychiatrist with experience working in a Learning Disability Service to take up a permanent post in the private sector. Located close to London, you will need to hold GMC Specialist Registration (or be eligible for this) and ideally a CCT in Learning Disability Psychiatry. Consideration will also be given to Consultants with a CCT in General Adult of Forensic Psychiatry who also have experience working in a learning disability setting. An excellent salary up to £144,000 per annum and benefits including private healthcare, group pension, paid medical indemnity and 30 days annual leave and birthday leave are on offer.
You will be working alongside a Consultant in Learning Disability Psychiatry on an LD locked rehabilitation inpatient unit. Your role will be to provide high quality clinical care for patients referred to and using the services of the hospital. To work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that clients receive a holistic and person-centric care and treatment programme based on the recovery model. You will be a strong team player and keen to participate in a multidisciplinary approach to assessment, formulation, and management plans.
