This job is open to Consultant Psychiatrists interested in either a substantive residential role in this location or those happy to do FIFO from home anywhere in Australia (return flights negotiable subject to location approval etc).
If you are the former you can enjoy playing a prominent role in raising the health care standards in a rural Australian context enjoying rent free accommodation, a lucrative renumeration package and enhanced regional allowances.
If you are the latter you can have the best of both worlds: a well paid FIFO rural psychiatry job with flights paid for returning you to home base.
The goal of the job is to provide first class clinicare care to a catchment population spread across a large geographic region, providing multidisciplinary team leadership in the regional service whilst maintaining close ties to the inpatient centre at the main referal centre.
If you don't have FRANZCP already you will have completed your specialist training in either UK, NZ, Ireland, Canada or USA; have had minimum of 3 years consultant level experience and have completed a CAMHS placement in your training. Either way, you will be able to demonstrate high levels of attainment in
