We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist (Inpatient) for a 350 bed secondary hospital for a university city with a population of 80,000 (regionally 168,000). This is a large teaching hospital that is well-respected, and is a modern working environment, enjoying close links with both Auckland and Otago Medical Schools. The team is well-established with Consultants who work across all psychiatry subspecialties, together they deliver a comprehensive range of mental health services within their multidisciplinary teams.

Located just two hours from the capital city of Wellington, Palmerston North is centrally located within the North Island, which means you will be within easy driving distance of ski fields and lush vineyards.
