Head Medical are currently recruiting for a Consultant Neurologist to work in beautiful Dumfries & Galloway.

The successful applicant will work as one of two Neurologists based at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary and will be supported by the Neurology Specialist Nurses. This post would be suitable for a general neurologist with a preferred subspecialty of epilepsy, movement disorders, functional disorders, and electrophysiology although this is not a necessity. The exact job plan will be agreed with the successful applicant; however, the main aspects of the role will include:
• Provision of outpatient clinics (Stranraer and Dumfries)
• Ward Referrals
• SPA
• Teaching
• Clinical Administration
To be considered for this you must hold Specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) for Neurology or be within 6 months of achieving this at the time of interview.
This post is for full time however, we are open to discussing part time or job share for the right candidate. A full relocation package is on offer if required with salary following NHS pay scales from £84,984 up to £112,925, dependent on experience. This job will be subject to a police check.
