Consultant Intensivist seeking a new professional challenge and a warmer climate?

The Role
You will have broad experience and skills in Intensive Care Medicine along with a sound understanding of contemporary models of care; proven leadership skills and experience of working in a multidisciplinary team environment; an interest in medical education and teaching, including providing supervision and education to junior medical staff and medical students; participate with other Intensive Care Unit staff and visiting specialist in the provision of a seamless on call service; and a commitment and willingness to be involved in continuous quality improvement programmes.

The Bunbury Hospital will be undergoing significant capital works, including an expected helipad, in the next few years to meet the increasing demand for high quality clinical services within the South West of Western Australia. Clinical services are expanding to meet increasing regional demand.

Requirements
Applicants should be registered (or eligible for registration) as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and be a Fellow of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (FCICM) or equivalent as an overseas trained specialist who has completed their training in either the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA or New Zealand.
