The Role
You will have broad experience and skills in Intensive Care Medicine along with a sound understanding of contemporary models of care; proven leadership skills and experience of working in a multidisciplinary team environment; an interest in medical education and teaching, including providing supervision and education to junior medical staff and medical students; participate with other Intensive Care Unit staff and visiting specialist in the provision of a seamless on call service; and a commitment and willingness to be involved in continuous quality improvement programmes.

Requirements
All applicants should be registered (or eligible for registration) as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia; be a Fellow of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand; or alternatively have a specialist qualification deemed to be equivalent to the FCICM; or be on a documented pathway towards achieving these goals (i.e. assessed by CICM as "substantially comparable" in intensive care medicine).
