Consultant Community Paediatrician - Wales
An opportunity is available for a Consultant Community Paediatrician to work in Wales as part of a multidisciplinary team. Your objective will be to promote the well-being of children and their families with chronic problems, supporting them to reach their full potential. As a senior employee you will work closely with, and support other clinical, medical professional and managerial colleagues in providing high quality healthcare to the Health Board’s patients. This would be a great opportunity for an experienced Consultant who is looking to reduce their workload, part time working will be considered.
Consultants do 3 outpatient clinics per week, one of which is an outreach clinic to a local community hospital. All special interests will be considered. This post requires a leader who works well within a wider team, who can draw on local skills to provide excellent care. You will have GMC registration with a current licence to practice, and ideally be on the Specialist Register or within 6-12 months of achieving CCT. This will be a twelve month contract initially, with the opportunity to apply for a substantive post once in situ. International doctors will be welcomed and visa sponsorship is available, please get in touch to discuss your individual situation.
