Join a team of 5 other consultants in this Cellular Pathology Department in the Scottish Highlands.

The role is ideally full time (10PA's) but applicants wishing to work part time or looking for some flexibility in the working week will be equally welcome to apply.

The department provides a balanced mix of specialist and generalist reporting practice.  You will be expected to take part in the general cellular pathology reporting rota and either have or develop special interests to complement those of colleagues and to meet the needs of the department.

An interest in dermatopathology and diagnostic cytology would be advantageous but not essential.  The department also provides extra-contractual autopsy services to the Scottish Fatalities Investigation Unit (North) and participation in this service would be welcomed.  There is no requirement to report cervical cytology.
