An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant in Haematology in the beautiful area of Inverness, Northern Scotland. As a Consultant in Haematology you will be part of a team providing a comprehensive Haematology service across the Health Board. Joining this Hospital, you will be fully supported and encouraged to develop sub-specialty interests.
The role will comprise of 10 programmed activities per week & will be within the Clinical Haematology & Laboratory service situated in Raigmore Hospital, a cancer centre with radiotherapy service on site. You will join a team of 4 other Haematologists providing clinical duties comprising of inpatients, ward referrals, tele consultation & outpatient clinics. The department provides BCSH level 2b clinical service including treatment of all malignancies.
The trust can offer you a 12 month fixed term contract initially with a view to becoming permanent, the salary on offer is between £77 - £104k depending on experience along with a generous relocation package if required. The trust are also happy to provide VISA sponsorships for those that will need it.
