Consultant in Emergency Medicine – Grampian
An exciting opportunity is available for a Consultant in Emergency Medicine to work in a hospital and help in transforming the way it delivers remote and rural healthcare to the area.
The hospital is in the heart of the community and is investing in the future by creating sustainable clinical services. The successful Doctor will be joining the team at an exciting time with the chance to practice the full range of Emergency Medicine, providing direct, Consultant led care with support for the wider clinical MDT. Opportunities can be discussed to those who may be interested in pre-hospital and retrieval services. With approximately 25,000 patients a year coming through the Emergency Department you will see a full range of paediatrics, trauma, and medical cases.

To be considered for this role you must hold registration with the General Medical Council (GMC). Those trained in the UK should have evidence or higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry onto the Specialist register from date of interview or be able to have eligibility for specialist registration through CESR.
Ideally, we are looking for someone full time but part time or job share can be discussed. Salary will follow NHS pay scales and be from £82,669 up to £109,849 dependent on experience. Those who may require a visa will be considered. This job is subject to a police check.
