Consultant in Community Paediatrics - Scotland
A qualified Consultant in Community Paediatrics is required to join a small and committed community paediatric team based in the beautiful Highlands region of Scotland. The team consists of 5 community paediatric consultants, 7 Associate specialists and 1 ADHD specialist nurse. The team have close working relationships with CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) and allied health professional colleagues. CAMHS, acute paediatrics and community paediatric outpatients and offices are all co-located at the dedicated unit within hospital campus.
Specialist Registration with the General Medical Council in the UK is required, or eligibility for the CESR pathway can be discussed. Previous experience working in community paediatrics is required. Visa sponsorship is possible for the successful candidate.
The Highlands is a beautiful and scenic part of the Scotland and would be ideally suited to those with a love of the outdoors. There is easy access to the full range of outdoor pursuits, from skiing and snowboarding to golf, hill walking and sailing. Additionally, there are connecting flights to airports around the UK and Europe from the local airport in the city.
