Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (Fixed Term Contract) - Donegal
A fantastic opportunity is now available for an experienced Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to work on a salaried contract basis (6 to 12 months) in Donegal, Republic of Ireland. This is a beautiful county located in the north-west of the country with breathtaking scenery and includes part of the Wild Atlantic Way.
Previous CAMHS experience is of course essential and you will need to be registered, or eligible for Irish Medical Council specialist registration. If you are unsure of the criteria please get in touch and I can assess your CV for this. Ideally you will be available to start within the next 2-3 months, and can commit to a 6 or 12 month contract. Working on a salaried basis you will receive an allocation of paid holidays, study leave and public holidays, you will work full time at 39 hours per week and the on call commitment is 1:3 (although this is high the work load is less intense than in a heavily populated area).
Ireland is a beautiful country, with a very friendly and welcoming culture. The mental health services are experienced in guiding European or International Consultants in the Irish system and would be very supportive of applicants. If you would like the opportunity to live and work in Ireland, then please get in touch with Karen Diamond to discuss your experience further, for this post or future opportunities.
