Darwin is really a sensational place to live. This Addictions Medicine post is based in Darwin and you will be expected to undertake outreach work to remote communities. Your responsibilities will extend over clinical work, service development, providing a consulting liaison service internally, working well with all stakeholders such as allied health (primary care), NGOs and teaching and supervising doctors in training and students.
You will be a Consultant/Specialist Physician in Addictions Medicine and if not FRACP you will have completed your specialist training in UK, Ireland, NZ, Canada, USA OR have beeb assessed by RACP as "Substantially Comparable".
