Core functions of this position:

  • Providing a first class diagnostic and consultative service for inpatients and outpatients in adult and paediatric haematology at the Northern Cancer Centre.
  • Contribute to teaching - under and postgrad.
  • Initiate, contribute to and/or implement quality improvement and research activities.

If not FRCP (Path) or FRCP you must have completed your specialist training in a comparable country of training and be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. 

You must be able to demonstrate experience and skills in providing clinical haematology and diagnostic lab services at a tertiary referral teaching hospital. standard.
