This part of Australia is undoubtedly one of its most unique and beautiful. The town has a population of approx. 15,000 people and retains a regional hospital. The health service requires an enthusiastic medical professional to provide first class general surgery services in the town and the region – providing essential support to GP O/G proceduralists working in more remote regional hospitals. You will lead, mentor and inspire junior medical and clinical staff ensuring that the highest standards of care are delivered.
If you don't hold FRACS, it is essential your specialist qualifications will have been completed within a recognised competent authority country - United Kingdom, Canada, USA, New Zealand, and Ireland.
Further, you will have a strong sense of cultural sensitivity, respectfulness and diplomacy. You will be curious about indigenous health and passionate about its challenges.
You will be rewarded with a salary package of up to AUD570k as well as additional allowanced.
