I am looking for a Consultant General Surgeon for a 28-day on/off rotational position based at Aksai District General Hospital in Aksai Kazakhstan. The successful applicant will be required to deliver a project, on behalf of a large multi-national Oil and Gas Corporate, to improve and upgrade emergency services and critical care.
This role focuses on three key areas (a) ICU (b) Operating Theatre and (c) Emergency Department and is split 50% teaching and 50% showcasing best practice Surgery according to international quality standards. The mission is to upgrade operating standards and patient outcomes in emergency medical cases.
The salary for this position is circa $20,000 per month for a 28-day rotational period ($120,000 per annum based on 6 rotations) with accommodation and return flights provided.

Applicants must have at least 5 years’ experience at Consultant level and have an international recognised qualification as a Surgeon and be available to commence the rotational post from February 2020.
