As Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Provide first class services and supervise the inpatient care in Orthopaedics on a day to day basis.
- Organising efficient outpatient clients.
- Supervising the activities of junior doctors in Orthopaedics, ensuring quality of clinical care and accurate medical records.
- Participating in the on-call roster.
- Starting and managing quality management, peer review and ongoing personal professional development programs.
- Participate in teaching for registrars and residents and education programs for medical students and supporting staff
- Undertake research.
