The department of General Medicine requires the services of a Consultant in General Medicine to deliver first class care.
It is a seven day service across a number of units. As well as particpating in rosters/oncall etc. you will also supervise junior and student doctors and initiate and participate in quality improvement and QA projects.
You will maintain your own and encourage professional development activities to all staff.
The department has a 12 bed MAU, 24 bed general med ward, peri-operative med services, medical consultation services, outpatient clinics and ambulatory care units.
If not FRACP you will ideally have been assessed as substantially comparable by RACP and have completed your specialist training in any of the following countries: UK, NZ, Ireland, USA, Canada or South Africa.
