The Location

Brisbane is the state capital of the Australian state of Queensland and is the largest city in the state. It's a cosmopolitan and lively river city which gives easy access to both the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.

Brisbane has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and dry, mild winters – perfect for enjoying the Queensland outdoors lifestyle.

While an international city, Brisbane is still highly liveable. Traffic issues are minimal and the State government has expanded and improved the commuter train network in recent years. It has three major universities, a host of artistic venues that host the annual Brisbane festival and an international airport.

This role in particular offers the opportunity to eschew urban living and opt for a sea change. The growth of the Sunshine Coast and its environs reflect the demand of lifestyle and good living over the rat race. In this role you will be able to enjoy travelling and/or living up and down the tropical east coast and the cooler hinterland areas.

What can Head Medical do for you?

Arranging a position overseas is very exciting, but we appreciate it can also be extremely daunting and time consuming. We’re the UK's specialist in international medical recruitment and we‘ve helped hundreds of doctors relocate since we first started out in 2008 (you can read what people have said about working with us on our testimonials page). We take the responsibility of relocating candidates seriously and we know it’s critically important to balance career opportunities with lifestyle and we’ll talk through yours and your loved ones plans in detail, getting to know you to ensure we provide a seamless service which is second to none and above all right for you.

Once we have secured a job for you, we’ll manage all the Medical Registration and Visa application process, and support you (and your family) with the relocation itself.
