Based in the North East of Scotland, there is a requirement for a Consultant Dermatologist to join the team and provide excellent out-patient care, including day treatments.
The service covers general adult and paediatric dermatology, patch testing, phototherapy, photodynamic treatment, skin cancer clinics and skin cancer surgery. MOHS micrographic surgery is also provided as part of the North of Scotland MOHS surgery network. Your clinical duties will be based in Aberdeen, but attendance at occasional peripheral clinics within the region is included.
The Department of Dermatology provides a comprehensive service to the local population (approximately 520 000) covering the full range of skin disease. Services are centred on a busy out-patient practice with a range of general Dermatology and sub specialty clinics for adult and paediatric services. There is a dedicated and enthusiastic team of trainee doctors and nurses within the department, together with close links to other NHS trusts within Scotland.
This is a 12 month contract paying between £77,000 - £104,000 based on experience along with a generous relocation package to anyone who requires. The Trusts will also be able to sponsor anyone in need of a VISA.
