Head Medical are delighted to be working with East Kent Hospitals to source a Consultant Cellular Pathologist to join the driven and passionate team at the William Harvey Hospital based in Ashford.
If successful, you will be given flexibility within the existing structure to develop sub-specialist interests. It would be beneficial if you already held subspecialty interest in one or more of the following specialties: breast, skin, gastrointestinal and soft tissue pathology. There is also the opportunity to participate in the private pathology services in the coronial post-mortem rota, but this is not essential.
This post is being offered on a full time, 11 PA (including 2 SPAs) basis, however those looking for part time will be considered.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you should hold full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) as well as Specialist Registration (or be within 6 months of receiving your CCT at the time of interview). You will also be a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists or equivalent.
Salaries will follow the NHS pay scale and be from £82,096 up to £110,683, dependent on experience. This position is subject to a police check. Those requiring a Tier 2 visa will be considered as well as those interested in part time.
