Head Medical are interested to speak with enthusiastic Locum Acute Physicians or Locum Speciality Physicians with GIM accreditation to work in a dynamic team of 10 Acute Physicians based in Shrewsbury and Telford hospitals.
These are 10 PA posts with clinical 7.5 DCCs and 2.5 SPAs including 1 which is for engagement in corporate activity. 1 PA of the clinical DCCs is available to support candidate’s areas of special interest. Additional speciality sessions are negotiable. There is a further 1.5PAs available to join the Consultant Physician out of hour’s medical on-call rota.
Shropshire is a beautiful county ideally located between the north and the south, making travelling around the UK extremely easy. As well as being only a short distance from major cities and busy transport links including Birmingham airport, our county also borders with beautiful north Wales which is abundant in outdoor activities, brilliant beaches, and thrilling scenery. 
Qualifications and requirements:
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practice or within 6 months of achieving this at time of interview.
- MRCP
Full time and part time applications for these posts are welcomed along with those who have trained in other specialities and potentially interested in hybrid posts between Acute Medicine and other medical specialities.
