We have an opportunity for an experienced Consultant or Specialty Doctor in Paediatrics to join the community paediatrics team based in the Scottish Highlands.
The team of paediatricians is supported professionally by Regional and National Managed Clinical Networks. Local Lead clinicians are supported by visiting specialist clinics in Neurology, Oncology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Genetics, Endocrinology, Urology, Cardiology, Complex Respiratory and HIV/Immunology, and metabolic medicine.
Specialist areas of interest within the department include: vision, hearing impairment, adoption and fostering, child protection, neuromuscular disease, neuro-disability, and neuro-developmental disorders. The service is currently developing to include sleep and services for children who have experienced trauma and adversity.
Working Hours
The post is for 40 hours per week (Although Part Time hours will be considered) and there is no out of hours requirement.
We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for 3 months initially
To be considered you must have current General Medical Council registration with a licence to practice and PVG Disclosure Scotland or DBS clearance which has been undertaken within the last 12 months along with Occupational Health Clearances from a UK laboratory
